糖心Vlog

The Division of Educational Outreach at 糖心Vlog University provides continuing education units (CEUs) for approved classes, workshops, seminars and conferences for both university departments and external organizations. The requesting provider must meet 糖心Vlog standards of academic integrity and have a legitimate educational purpose. The provider may not advertise CEU approval until such approval is granted in writing by 糖心Vlog.

CEUs are based on 10 contact hours per 1 CEU. We can go to tenths but not hundredths. For example, you can have .5 CEUs (5 contact hours) but not .55 CEUs (5 1/2 contact hours). 糖心Vlog will not grant CEUs for less than 5 contact hours. CEUs are applicable to various licensing agencies. However, it is your responsibility to contact the agency to confirm that Western CEUs can be used at that agency. Certificates are mailed to the participant, not the agency.

HOW TO APPLY FOR PROGRAM CONSIDERATION (for providers only):
Educational providers who wish to have their program considered for continuing education credit should submit an application at least 30 days in advance of the start date. All programs must be approved prior to the start date of the workshop. Approval time may take up to 4 weeks. For questions or inquiries, please call 828-227-7397 or email learn@wcu.edu.

REQUIREMENTS:

• To be approved for continuing education credit, a program must include a legitimate educational component

  and submit a complete application.

• A $50 non-refundable application fee is required per program application.
• Each application must include: 

• • A detailed description of the program with clear learning objectives

• • A detailed agenda showing dates, times and program content

• • A professional vita / resume for each instructor

The program coordinator will be contacted for any questions that may arise. Also, the CEU registration cards and the certificates will be mailed to the coordinator.

INDIVIDUALS PAYING FOR CEUs:
After you have completed an approved course or workshop, click on the link above and submit the . A $25 registration fee is required regardless of the actual number of CEUs being credited. Registration for CEUs should be made within 30 days of the course attendance. Certificates will be emailed within 10-15 business days. Individuals must attend the entire program in order to receive any portion of CEU credit for which application is being made. It is the responsibility of the provider to submit a verifying attendance roster immediately after the completion of an approved program. CEUs cannot be granted without attendance verification.
