Biography

Dr. Strong is an Assistant Professor of Finance, with nearly fifteen years of experience in financial services. He began his career with Northern Trust as part of their Global Opportunities and Leadership Development (GOLD) rotational program. Upon completion of the program, he served as Marketing Lead for FlexShares ETFs and Internal Equity Strategist for Northern Trust Asset Management, providing product ideas and support for funds and SMAs for a national network of portfolio managers and sales executives.<br><br>In his next role, Dr. Strong served as a Wealth Strategist for Diversified Trust, a Southeast-based trust company, where he helped provided comprehensive wealth advice, including cashflow planning, investment management, and estate planning. Most recently, he served as a Senior Financial Advisor at Vanguard, where he provided comprehensive financial planning to more than 200 families.<br><br>Dr. Strong holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from Florida A&M University. He obtained a Master of Science in Wealth Management from DePaul University. Dr. Strong received his Doctor of Philosophy in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University.
